VLC coconut fibre block 5 kg yielding 70 L, pH 5.7. Ideal for terrariums, plants, cacti and bonsai.
Availability:
Coconut fibre block from VLC Horticultura with a net weight of 5 kg that expands to about 70 litres of substrate once hydrated. Ideal for terrariums, plants, cacti and bonsai, and as a horticultural growing medium.
Coconut fibre provides a light, porous structure that improves aeration around the roots. Use it as a single substrate or blended with soils and other substrates in horticulture, gardening, hydroponics and intensive growing.
It has a stabilised pH of 5.7, suitable for most crops without extra adjustment, and an approximate blend of 75% coarse coco and 25% fibres that favours drainage and oxygenation. It is rich in nutrients such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.
Place the block in a large container and add water (around 40-45 L depending on the final moisture you want). Let it soak, break up the fibre and the substrate is ready for pots, terrariums or seed trays.
A compact block that yields plenty of volume and adapts to growing, terrariums and bonsai. A natural, versatile and well-rated substrate, averaging 4.7/5.
